Лол, копипастные деревья. SpeedTree не захотели юзать. Будет хуже, зато все свое.

Кстати, Siridon, что у тебя за система? А то одни говорят, что Mirrors Edge на windows 7 не работает, другие говорят, что работает. У меня на x64 не работает :(

Запускал на x86 семерке.

 

скрипты ,которые содержат информацию обо всем и по ним строится файлы,а после собирается?

Скорее много С++ и немного Asm кода, который все это строит. Скрипты место занимают, их парсить еще надо, что тоже место ест. Каждый байт дорог в таких проектах.

 

На мой взгляд последний NFS покрасивее будет

Да, NFS тоже показался симпатичнее.

 

 

 

Еще парочка демосцен.

 

Очень красивая сценка. Около миллиона частиц двигаются под музыку.

Ну а тут все просто - демка весом 4 Кбайта.

Ну так AW делали профеесионалы 6 лет, а эту карту любитель за неделю :) Вообще самый красивый лес в Nehrim"е

Он конечно детализированный и густой, но деревья больно уж копипастные. Конечно же, они везде копипастные, но вот например в карте крузиса и в AW это намного меньше бросается в глаза.

Вообще самый красивый лес в Nehrim"е

По моему, он как-то неестественно тут выглядит. Какой-то плоский совсем и уж больно заметно, что на каждом дереве висят одинаковые ветки как-будто. Наследие оригинальной игры в общем.

По идеи каждое дерево в игре уникальное, в настройках даже галочка есть чтобы деревья клонировались, у меня она неактивна. Да и разработчики про технологию даже рассказывали что в игре не будет ни одного одинакового дерева. В динамике лес смотрится получше, чем в статике.

 

Какой-то плоский совсем

Помню много разговоров на эту тему было(плоские монстры и все остальное), нужна какая-то технология чтобы обьемно смотрелось, это проблема всего Обливиона к сожалению

По-моему, этим занимается тесселяция и parallax-текстуры(добавляется в оригинальный обливион с помощью мода)

она и есть.в Infinity Blade смотрится кошерно земля.

Деревья-то там разные, но все спрайтовые, Speedtree там юзается :d:

Кил3она отвал башки) В динамике вообще наверное секир башки) Siridon, там пишут фпс еще высокий?

При чем тут SpeedTree? Он то как раз такие деревья способен генерировать и отображать, какие от настоящих не отличишь - достаточно зайти на сайт технологии. Другое дело, что в обливионе им пришлось ограничивать саму технологию, чтобы все это в реалтайме могло бегать. Поэтому и спрайты страшненькие.

Миленькая такая игрушка. Играется не очень интересно, зато выглядит, опять же, мило - не зря она попадала в номинации на лучшую графику.

Более чем. Производительность у него отличная, можно сказать. Графику улучшает: разрешение, сглаживание, фильтрация, освещение. С управлением сложнее - много плоскостей, в которых вимоут надо эмулировать.

Рекомендую еще попробовать Донки Конг Ретурнс и Супер Марио Гэлакси 2, тоже симпатично выглядят, особенно донки конг.
